Hospital list
The set of hospitals your policy will pay for you to be treated at.
Insurers group facilities into tiers and price the policy according to which tier you choose. A narrower list is cheaper; a wider one costs more and typically adds central London hospitals. Being treated outside your list can mean paying a shortfall or the whole bill. Lists change, so it is worth checking that the hospital you would actually use is still included at renewal.
