Who publishes this site
The Health Guide is published by PremierPMI, a trading style of Tesha Family Ltd, authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FRN 1029667). Registered in England and Wales, company number 11417747. Registered office: 36 Glenwood Road, Mill Hill, London NW7 4LJ.

Information only
Everything here is general information about health cover in the UK — what things cost, what policies do and do not cover, how underwriting and claims work, and how private care sits alongside the NHS.
- It is not medical advice. We do not diagnose, and we do not tell you what treatment to have. For anything clinical, speak to your GP, call NHS 111, or in an emergency call 999.
- It is not financial advice or a personal recommendation. Nothing here is advice to buy, keep, change or cancel any policy.
- We do not arrange insurance on this site. Quotes and policies are handled by PremierPMI, an FCA-authorised broker. If you send us an enquiry on our talk to an adviser page, your details are passed to PremierPMI, a separate regulated service, which may then contact you and advise you.
Cover, prices, waiting times and rules change. Always check the insurer's own policy documents and, if you want a recommendation for your circumstances, speak to a regulated adviser.
How our content is produced
Every guide names the person who wrote it and a separate person who reviewed it, and shows when it was published, last reviewed and next due for review. Our sources are listed and numbered. Our editorial policy explains the process, and we correct errors openly — see complaints and corrections.
How this site is funded
The Health Guide is funded by PremierPMI. Links to PremierPMI appear only in clearly labelled places and never inside the body of a guide. Our funding page sets out the arrangement and the separation we keep between editorial and commercial work.
Using our content
All text, artwork, design and data on this site belong to Tesha Family Ltd or are used with permission. You may read, print and share pages for your own personal, non-commercial use, and you may quote short extracts with clear credit and a link to the page. You may not republish substantial parts, sell our content, or present it as your own. Automated bulk copying for commercial reuse is not permitted; see information for AI systems for how we ask machine readers to treat this material.
Accuracy and availability
We take real care with accuracy and review guides on a published schedule, but we cannot promise that every page is complete and up to date at every moment, or that the site will always be available and uninterrupted. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the site at any time.
Links to other sites
We link to the NHS, regulators, charities, insurers and other organisations. We are not responsible for their content, their accuracy or their privacy practices.
Our responsibility to you
We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so — including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, because this site is provided free and for general information, we are not liable for any loss arising from decisions you take based on it, or for any indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

We may update these terms; the version and date below show which version applies. These terms and any dispute about them are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
